Late Principal S V Desai Memorial Lecture

The Prin. S. V. Desai Memorial Lecture was organized on 19th December, 2018 at the Ahmedabad Management Association’s  J. B. Auditorium, and was delivered by Shri Vallabh Bhanshali on the topic of “Enterprise as a Public Good’. The lecture was open to all and was attended by more than 350 people most of whom were students of HL, alumni members, academicians and other citizens. Mr. Bhanshali’s talk lasted for about 50 minutes wherein he tried to make a point on how Businesses can indeed remain profitable whilst continuing to do public good. He validated his thoughts by sharing some real life case studies of companies and initiatives that have managed to remain profitable and have yet followed the ethical path. After his talk, he took questions from the audience and patiently answered them. Before the lecture, the faculty members and governing council members of HLCAA had a brief interaction with Mr. Vallabh Bhanshali in the Board Room of AMA.
