Expressions 2024

 

The final day of Expressions 2024 at HL College was a whirlwind of talent and excitement. Students dazzled the audience with captivating performances in music, theatre, dance, and a stunning fashion show. The day began with an inspiring speech by the General Secretary, setting the stage for a day filled with creativity and passion. Spectators were treated to mesmerizing displays of talent, from soulful melodies to gripping theatrical acts and electrifying dance routines. The prize ceremony honoured outstanding participants, while the fashion show showcased the students’ creativity and style. The event concluded with a lively DJ session, as students danced the night away in celebration. Expressions 2024 was a testament to the vibrant artistic community at HL College, leaving everyone eagerly anticipating next year’s event.

Food Fest Competition:

The Food Fest Competition, held as part of Expressions, provided a platform for enthusiasts to showcase their skills and creativity. Participants presented a diverse range of dishes. The food stalls were arranged in the Plaza, where participants showcased their culinary prowess by presenting innovative dishes and presentation techniques to create unique and memorable experiences. The judges of the event were Dr. P.M. Parmar and Dr. B.M. Patel sir. Judges evaluated participants based on criteria such as taste, presentation and creativity.

Mehndi Competition:

The Mehndi Competition, held as part of Expressions, saw students from various classes showcasing their creativity and skill in traditional Mehndi artistry. The competition commenced at 10:30 A.M., concluding at 12:30 P.M. The judges of the event were Dr. Radha Tiwari Ma’am and Khyati Ma’am. They evaluated participants based on criteria such as design complexity, neatness, creativity, and overall presentation, ensuring a fair and impartial assessment.

Poetry Competition:

The Poetry Competition, held as part of Expressions, served as a platform for students to showcase their literary talents and creative expression. Participants presented poems, captivating the audience with their words and imagination.
The competition was conducted in the Auditorium from 11:00 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. The judges for the event were Dr. Nisha Bhavsar and Dr. Radha Tiwari. They assessed participants based on criteria such as originality, creativity, thematic depth, poetic craftsmanship, and overall performance, ensuring a fair and comprehensive evaluation of their work.
