- Identify and define the key concepts of the business environment, including types of environments, industry structure, business classification, techniques of environmental analysis, and the basics of company law, CSR, and industrial relations.
- Explain the nature, characteristics, and influence of various environments, such as economic, political, legal, natural, technological, demographic, and societal, on business operations. Interpret the objectives, goals, and limitations of environmental analysis and forecasting.
- Apply the principles of business environment analysis to evaluate industry competition, assess economic conditions, and understand the impact of government policies, CSR requirements, consumer protection laws, and social responsibility on businesses.
- Analyze the internal and external business environment, including factors like industrial disputes, quality circles, international trade policies, and industrial relations. Assess the impact of demographic changes, technological innovation, and government regulations on business decisions.
- Critically evaluate international business environments, trade policies, and regulatory frameworks such as WTO, UNCTAD, and ILO. Assess the role of world economic unions (EU, NAFTA, ASEAN, SAARC) and trade cooperation in shaping global business strategies.
